Prince George's County Executive Rushern Baker and Darrell B. Mobley, Director of the Prince George's County Department of Public Works and Transportation encourage residents to attend one of the upcoming Prince George's County 2017-2018 Snow Summits, taking place throughout the County.

The Maryland-National Capital Park Police is providing a safe, convenient, and responsible way for disposing of your prescription drugs through the Prescription Drug Take Back Program.


With this program, you CAN dispose of:

  • Prescription and over the counter medications
  • Tablets and capsules
  • Pet medications


You MAY NOT drop off and try to dispose of:

  • Intervenous Solutions
  • Alcohol or illicit drugs
  • Needles, injectables and syringes (i.e. EpiPens)
  • Aerosols, or iodine-containing medications

Please be advised that Prince George's County government offices, with the exception of public safety agencies, will be closed on 

Friday, November 10, 2017 in observance of Veterans Day.

The following facilities and services provided by the PGC Department of the Environment will be closed, suspended or modified on Friday, November 10, 2017.

* - The County's Call-A-Bus service, including senior transportation services, will not operate on Friday, November 10, 2017. Regular operations resume on Monday, November 13, 2017. 

The Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement will be closed on Friday, November 10, 2017.   Regular business hours will resume on Monday, November 13, 2017.

Prince George's CountyClick 3-1-1 will be closed on Friday, November 10, 2017 and will resume regular operations on Monday, November 13, 2017. However, residents can still submit service/issue requests online at
